Would you like to add a sweet touch to the pottery workshop with the famous Xuixo de Girona and churros?
The ceramist Hel·lènica Ceramics (@hellenicaceramics) along with the Kreative Therapy team, offer you author ceramic workshops where you have the opportunity to learn to create in a cozy and personalized environment in La Rambla del Barri Vell in Girona.
In this XUIXO DE GIRONA edition of the ONE-DAY pottery workshops, we suggest enhancing the workshop with a sweeter touch by tasting the renowned Xuixo from Girona and chocolate churros.
Accompanying this tasting, the creative process will consist of two parts:
3. Firstly, the participants will build 1 cup and 1 saucer using refractory stoneware and will decorate it with decorative techniques such as sgraffito, the application of decals, colored slips, natural oxides, and/or crystals.
4. Secondly, the pieces will remain drying for a few days before being fired, will be coated with transparent glaze, and will be fired again over a period of 3 - 4 days. This entire period will last between 2-3 weeks. Once this process is finished, they will be available for collection.
No prior experience is necessary. At all times, participants will have the help of Helena and the Kreative team in the creation of the pieces to ensure a moment of disconnection and creativity.
(*) Payment for the workshops will be made at the time of registration to reserve the spot. In case of not attending the workshop after having made the payment, we will not be able to refund the amount or change the date of the workshop.
